Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd in Hazelmere is seeking a Workshop Technician with a strong refrigeration background to diagnose, repair and test major home appliances in our workshop.

You will read schematics, handle domestic refrigerants with ARC Tick, hold a Restricted Electrical Licence, and mentor two apprentices while delivering quality workmanship.

Hours are 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for development and employee discounts.

Refrigeration will be your primary area of expertise, with the opportunity to broaden your skills across the wider Fisher & Paykel appliance portfolio.**About the role**Working as part of our Workshop team, you’ll diagnose, repair and test major home appliances, ensuring every repair meets our high standards for quality and performance.Your refrigeration experience will be particularly valuable, while we’ll support you to develop your knowledge across **Washing Machines, Dryers, Dishwashers and Stoves**.You’ll evaluate faults, determine the appropriate course of repair, complete quality repairs and fully test products before they leave the workshop.
