Job summary

Fisher & Paykel is hiring Service Technicians to join our Western Australia team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain premium appliances in customers' homes, delivering exceptional service with a customer-first mindset.

You will receive comprehensive training and work with experienced technicians to enhance your skills and knowledge. Travel across WA will be involved, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and operational excellence.

Through a combination of structured learning, technical training, and practical experience, you'll develop the skills needed to diagnose, repair, and maintain our products to the highest standard.Whether you're looking to build on existing technical experience or take the next step in your career, you'll be supported every step of the way.What You'll Be DoingAs a Service Technician, you'll be the face of Fisher & Paykel in customers' homes, combining technical expertise with exceptional service to create positive customer experiences.You will:Deliver exceptional in-home service experiences, representing the Fisher & Paykel brand with professionalism, expertise, and a customer-first mindset.Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test premium appliances, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality outcomes for customers.Assess product performance, identify the most effective repair solution, and clearly communicate recommendations and next steps to customers.Maintain and manage van stock of spare parts inventory to maximise efficiency and first-time fix rates.Complete service documentation, quotations, and job records accurately, while adhering to company policies and safety standards.Complete service documentation, customer records, quotations, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, ensuring all work meets company and regulatory standards.Continuously develop your technical expertise through training, product knowledge, and collaboration with colleagues to deliver best-in-class customer outcomesWhat We're Looking ForWe're interested in people who are motivated to learn and committed to delivering exceptional service.You'll bring:Previous experience in appliance repair, fault-finding and troubleshooting, ideally within domestic appliances, whiteware, electronics, or a related technical trade.The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and provide effective long-term solutions.A customer-first mindset with a professional approach and excellent communication skills.Strong written communication skills and confidence using digital service systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology.High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously.A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to customer locations as required.Experience servicing premium appliances or Fisher & Paykel products will be highly regarded.Preferrable QualificationsElectrical, Electronics, Appliance Service, Refrigeration, or related Trade Qualification.Disconnect/Reconnect license.Licensed Electrical Service Technician or Registered Electrical Service Technician experience highly regarded.What's In It For You?At Fisher & Paykel, we invest in our people and provide opportunities for growth and development.
