Job summary

Hastings Deering Mackay is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead daily workshop operations, support Leading Hands and tradespeople, and drive performance across quality, productivity and customer outcomes. This permanent, Monday–Friday role offers stability in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee safety, estimates, warranties, and quotations, while coordinating with leaders and supervisors to ensure efficient service delivery and strong customer satisfaction in a busy Mackay workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in workshop/service environments.
• Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or related field.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and cost estimation skills.
• Commitment to safety and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety and compliance in workshop activities.
• Lead weekly and monthly department meetings.
• Manage workshop efficiency and resolve work-order issues.
• Oversee resource planning and process improvements.
• Coordinate communication of arrivals, dates and customer requirements.
