Job summary

RDO Equipment Sydney is seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring outstanding customer service, efficient workflow, and a safe, productive environment. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will mentor technicians, schedule training, manage warranties and WIP, and drive a strong safety culture while maintaining high equipment standards.

You will collaborate across parts and service teams to support engine overhauls and major repairs,

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory or management experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Mechanical Trade Certificate is preferred.
• Experience with engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and gather feedback from customers.
• Monitor and manage daily workshop workflow ensuring procedures and standards.
• Assign jobs to Service Technicians and support performance and development.
• Schedule and conduct in-house training for Technicians and apprentices.
• Maintain product knowledge and liaise with Parts Department as needed.
• Support timely warranty claims and WIP management.
• Review repair work before release to ensure quality.
