NB Industries in Mackay, QLD is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead our Auto Electrical and Mechanical team in Paget. You’ll oversee day-to-day workshop operations, mentor technicians and apprentices, and ensure high-quality work and efficient scheduling.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical knowledge, safety focus and the ability to motivate a team to deliver exceptional service to our diverse industrial and automotive clients.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical or Auto Electrical.
• Experience as Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor Auto Electricians, Mechanics and Apprentices.
• Oversee daily workshop operations, workflow and scheduling.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support complex diagnostics.
• Maintain high standards of quality and prevent rework.
• Build strong customer relationships and support business growth.
