Job summary

Traction Studio in Australia is expanding and seeking a Trade Assistant to keep the workshop running smoothly and the hire inventory ready for projects. You'll contribute to a tidy workspace, manage materials, and support the build team as needed.

The role involves lifting, deliveries, stock takes, and operating or learning CNC tasks. A forklift licence is preferred, and you’ll work well in a small team and take ownership of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop, warehouse, or trade environment or willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow systems, processes and checklists precisely.
• Keen eye for improving processes and stock handling.
• Forklift licence preferred; willing to obtain one.
• Clear communication and team focus.

Responsibilities

• Keep workshop floor and aisles clean and maintained.
• Manage storage and stock levels; weekly stocktake.
• Handle deliveries and collections for workshop and projects.
• Assist build team and operate CNC tasks if trained.
• Report on hire items and stock movements.
