Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights.
• Open Car License (MR Licence not essential).
• Mechanically minded with hands-on trade background.
• Previous hydraulic hose experience advantageous.
• Strong English and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule hose technicians to support growth and service efficiency.
• Ensure manufacture, removal and installation of hydraulic hoses comply with RS23.
• Conduct machine inspections and complete audit reports on time.
• Respond to planned maintenance and equipment breakdowns.
• Provide practical, cost-effective solutions to customer issues.
• Manage and maintain stock control and inventory levels.
• Complete job invoicing using computer and iPad-based systems.
• Assist in stock parts ordering and inventory management.
• Adhere to strict safety procedures and site guidelines.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Workshop Coordinator to join our Moranbah team. This full-time, permanent role operates on a 7/7 roster.

You'll work in the mining and agricultural sectors—Delegating, organising and coordination of Hose Technician staff to perform hose and fitting removal, manufacturing, and installation of hydraulic hoses and components on site and off. You'll be involved in planned and breakdown work, machine audits, inspections, and problem-solving, all while working within RS23 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule hose technicians to support business growth and service efficiency
• Ensure the manufacture, removal, and installation of hydraulic hoses and fittings comply with RS23 standards and guidelines
• Conduct machine inspections and complete audit reports accurately and on time
• Respond effectively to planned maintenance activities and equipment breakdowns
• Provide practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to customer issues
• Manage and maintain accurate stock control and inventory levels
• Complete job invoicing accurately using computer and iPad-based systems (all training provided for systems unknown)
• Ordering of Stock/Parts and Assisting in Stock Inventory Management
• Adhere to all strict in-house, site-specific safety procedures, guidelines, and compliance requirements

What You'll Need

• Full Australian working rights
• Open Car License (essential) MR Licence (not essential)
• Mechanically minded with hands-on trade background
• Previous hydraulic hose experience (advantageous)
• Hydraulic cylinder knowledge (advantageous)
• Strong English and strong computer/iPad skills (essential)
• Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (advantageous — we can assist the right candidate)
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
• Strong organisation, communication skills, and a solid work ethic
• Customer-focused and solution-driven attitude with moral values
• Practical experience is sufficient for this role without requiring formal trade qualification
