Job summary

HoseCo Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Hose Assembler (Hose Technician) for our Brisbane Virginia workshop. You will join a close-knit team responsible for assembling and crimping industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies, testing, packing orders and performing general warehouse duties.

Training is provided, with emphasis on HSE compliance, quality control and aligning with HoseCo's values. The role requires a police check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening; a positive, proactive

The Role

We are looking for a reliable person to join our Brisbane facility as a Hose Assembler (Hose Technician).

This role is in our Virginia workshop working with a close-knit team carrying out hose assembling, crimping and testing, as well as some general warehouse duties.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assembling and crimping a variety of industrial & hydraulic hose assemblies (training provided)

Pressure testing of hose assemblies (training provided)

Packing orders, forklift operation and other general warehouse duties

Adhere to HSE standards and quality control procedures

Support and promote HoseCo's values

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who is:

Solutions focused and technically minded

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Able to work closely with others in a team environment, as well as autonomously when required

Willing to adapt to changing business requirements

Physically fit

Our ideal candidate will have;

Previous experience with hydraulic and industrial hose & fittings, however it is not necessary, and people with cross-industry experience & roles are highly encouraged to apply

Forklift licence (ideal but not required)

Experience in warehouse duties(ideal but not required)

Australian Drivers Licence
