K&R Fabrications in Unanderra, NSW, Australia, invites applications for a Workshop Boilermaker. You will contribute to fabrication, welding and associated processes in a busy workshop environment, supporting structural steelwork fabrication and maintenance services for diverse industrial clients.
Working both autonomously and as part of a multi-trade team, you will follow written and verbal instructions, perform safety checks, and ensure compliance with technical and contract-specific
Workshop Boilermakers are required to carry out fabrication, welding, cutting, gouging, drilling, punching, sawing, rolling, and pressing as directed by the Supervisor. You will be working in a workshop environment at our Unanderra location, supporting the delivery of structural steelwork fabrication and installation, and maintenance services to a diverse industrial customer base.
Carry out fabrication, welding, cutting, gouging, drilling, punching, sawing, rolling, and pressing as directed by the Supervisor
Perform safety checks and inspection of all equipment used in the execution of the work
Note welding requirements and pass information on to a welder (if required)
Confidently follow written and verbal instructions
Ensure all technical, safety procedures and contract specific requirements are followed
Drivers Licence (HR/HC/MC preferable but not required)
High Risk Work License (desirable)
Welding Certification(s) will be viewed favourably
Able to work effectively both autonomously and within a team of different trades with well‑developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
High level of attention to detail
Strong commitment to safety and experienced in following safe systems of work
