Job summary

Teys Australia, Condamine Feedlot, is seeking an experienced Workshop Assistant to join our Maintenance team. You will assist in repairs, maintenance and servicing of all feedlot machinery and equipment.

The role requires maintenance and welding experience, a mechanical aptitude, a current driver's licence, and a readiness to learn. We offer a full-time permanent package, plus accommodation and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance and welding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Current valid Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairs, maintenance and servicing of feedlot machinery and equipment.
• Carry out workshop and tool maintenance and align work with maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow directions from the Maintenance Manager.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Workshop Assistant to join our Maintenance team based at our Condamine Feedlot. You will be part of a small and friendly team where you will assist in the repairs, maintenance and servicing of all Feedlot machinery and equipment.

Other role requirements include:

• Workshop and tool maintenance
• Carry out repair work in alignment with maintenance planning schedules
• Having a strong focus on maintaining a safe working environment
• Carry out work as directed by the Maintenance Manager

About You

• Previous experience in maintenance and welding
• Have mechanical aptitude
• Keen to learn new skills and advance your career
• Current Drivers Licence
