Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a mechanical or spare parts environment.
• Confident with inventory and ordering systems.

• Willingness to obtain a Q Fever vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts inventory and job records using Gearbox software.
• Receive, check, and organise parts and consumables.
• Pick and prepare parts for jobs; maintain stock levels.
• Run urgent parts pickups from local suppliers.
• Liaise with technicians and suppliers; keep store tidy.
• Support basic maintenance training for equipment operators.
• Pitch in with general workshop duties as required.

About Us

Condabri Beef (Drury Farming Company Pty Ltd) is a family-owned, vertically integrated agribusiness with operations spanning a 35,000-head feedlot, backgrounding, farming, and a large logistics fleet - located just 18 km from Miles and 45 km from Chinchilla.

We're growing our team and looking for a motivated, switched-on Storeperson who can keep up with the pace of a large-scale operation and take real ownership of our maintenance stores function.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be the engine room behind our maintenance team - making sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. In a busy feedlot and farming operation, downtime isn't an option. When a machine goes down, the pressure is on, and you'll be the person who makes sure the team has what they need to get back up and running fast.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise on the fly, and takes pride in keeping things moving - no matter what the day throws at them.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing parts inventory and job records using Gearbox maintenance management software
• Receiving, checking, and organising parts and consumables
• Picking and preparing parts for jobs and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Running urgent parts pickups from local suppliers as needed - often at short notice
• Liaising with technicians and suppliers in a professional manner
• Keeping the parts store and workshop clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Pitching in with general workshop duties as required
• Supporting basic maintenance training for equipment operators

What You'll Bring

• Mechanical aptitude or solid experience with spare parts
• Minimum 1 year in a mechanical or spare parts environment
• Confident computer skills - inventory and ordering systems are a must
• The ability to think on your feet and prioritise under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail - even when things are moving fast
• A team-first attitude with clear, professional communication
• Current driver's licence (forklift licence a bonus)
• Physically fit and committed to safe work practices
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of your space
• A 'get in and get it done' mindset - this one is non-negotiable
• Willingness to obtain a Q Fever vaccination
