Fork Force Australia is seeking Workshop and/or Field Service Technicians and/or Electricians in Melbourne. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems including engines, transmissions, control boards and forklifts; work in modern bays and on customer sites.

Preferred candidates have mechanical/industrial/automotive experience, forklift exposure, and a valid manual licence; auto-electrician experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, industrial or automotive experience is essential.
• Forklift industry experience preferred.
• Diesel/Petrol Mechanic, Light or Heavy vehicle experience.
• Auto Electrician experience advantageous.
• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication skills and safe-work practices.
• Can‑do attitude; overtime willingness; forklift licence preferred but not essential.

About the opportunity:

We are looking for enthusiastic Workshop and/or Field Service Technicians and/or Electricians who can utilise their current mechanical and customer service skills in our workshop and on-site with our customers.

Your primary role will be diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems such as engines, transmissions, control boards, forklifts, and associated equipment.

You will be part of a growing business in a company that cares for its teams on the floor. Uniforms are supplied and laundered; there are modern and clean bays to work in and monthly workshop BBQs. Due to the nature of our business, there are career pathways and opportunities with the right Managers in place to help you succeed!

What you’ll need to succeed
