Job summary

Fork Force Australia Pty Ltd - Wetherill Park NSW is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role combines diagnostics, fault finding, breakdown repairs, major component replacement, and pre-delivery work across a wide range of forklifts and materials handling equipment.

You will diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance with strong exposure to hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant and related fields.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Current driver's licence; forklift licence and other industry tickets highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Carry out breakdown repairs and emergency response work.
• Perform major repairs and component replacements.
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Service forklifts and materials handling equipment.
• Conduct machine pre-delivery inspections; fit and commission attachments and accessories.

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role offering a mix of diagnostics, fault finding, breakdown repairs, major component replacement, machine pre-deliveries, attachment fitting, servicing across a wide range of forklifts and materials handling equipment.

About the Role

As a forklift Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of forklifts and materials handling equipment.

This role offers a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown response, diagnostics, and major repairs, ensuring no two days are the same.

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Carry out breakdown repairs and emergency response work
• Perform major repairs and component replacements
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Service forklifts and materials handling equipment
• Conduct Machine Pre -Delivery inspections
• Fit and commission attachments and accessories as required
• Maintain service records and job documentation

• Mobile Plant Technicians
• Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
• Automotive Technicians looking to move into mobile equipment

To be successful you will ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant, Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle, Automotive or similar
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Current driver's licence
• Forklift licence and other industry tickets highly regarded
