Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a hands-on Civil Inspector based in Bega to support the delivery of civil construction and maintenance works. You will check activities against project specifications, take measurements, and maintain accurate records to ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires hands-on experience in civil construction or road maintenance, the ability to interpret plans, and a current White Card with a valid driver’s licence. This is an on-site position in Bega.

In this role, you'll:

Be out in the field supporting the delivery of civil construction and maintenance works, checking activities against project specifications and quality requirements, and maintaining accurate records. You'll perform inspections and measurements, use a range of tools and equipment, and work closely with team members, contractors and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely and to standard.

You're a hands-on and safety-focused professional with experience in civil construction, road maintenance or a similar environment. You take pride in quality work, can confidently interpret plans and specifications, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of WHS requirements, good communication skills, and a current White Card and driver's licence will help you succeed in this role.

This role is based in Bega.
