Job summary

Hedland Senior High School in the Pilbara region is advertising a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027. The successful applicant will help establish and operate the Structured Workplace Learning program and report on enrolment and completion data to the SWL Coordinator.

They will assist with the selection, training and induction of students and supervisors, and monitor student workplace progress, including logbook checks for satisfactory completion and hours.

Qualifications

• Eligibility includes Australian or NZ citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa with work rights for the term.
• Must obtain a valid Working With Children Check before start.
• Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.

Responsibilities

• Support the establishment and operation of the Structured Workplace Learning program.
• Evaluate enrolment and completion data and provide reports to the Structured Workplace Learning Coordinator.
• Assist with selection, training and induction of students for the workplace and induction/training of workplace supervisors.
• Monitor student progress in the workplace, including checking logbooks for satisfactory completion and hours.
