Job summary

Hedland Senior High School in the Pilbara is seeking a dedicated staff member to support the Structured Workplace Learning program. The role focuses on data collection, reporting to the Coordinator, and assisting with student and supervisor induction and training.

The successful candidate will monitor student progress, verify logbooks and hours, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Term 1, 2027 start; on-site role with eligibility requirements to be met.

Qualifications

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or visa with work rights for the term.
• Working With Children Check prior to start is required.
• National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate enrolment and completion data for the Structured Workplace Learning program and provide reports to the Coordinator.
• Support selection, training and induction of students for the workplace and of workplace supervisors; foster networks for workplace teachers and assessors.
• Monitor student progress in the workplace and check student logbooks for satisfactory completion and hours worked.
