Job summary

Jetstar Airways in Melbourne Docklands is seeking a Workforce Strategy & Planning Manager to lead workforce strategy, governance and transformation across the cabin crew operation. You will ensure capability, capacity, systems and processes align with the flying schedule while driving crew experience, compliance and business outcomes.

As the Workforce Strategy & Planning Manager, you'll lead workforce strategy, governance, business improvement and operational transformation initiatives across Jetstar's Cabin Crew operation. Reporting to the Cabin Crew - Senior Manager - Commercial, Strategy and Planning, you'll play a critical role in ensuring workforce capability, capacity, systems and processes support the flying schedule safely and efficiently, while improving crew experience, compliance and business outcomes. Working closely with leaders across Workforce Planning, Crewing, Payroll, People and Finance, you'll influence key decisions that shape the future of our workforce and support sustainable operational performance.

This is a unique opportunity to combine workforce strategy, industrial and payroll governance, commercial decision-making and large-scale transformation in a highly visible role with broad stakeholder exposure across the business

We’re searching for someone who:

• Has experience in workforce planning, workforce strategy, operational transformation, business improvement or a related discipline.
• Demonstrates strong analytical capability and can translate workforce data and insights into strategic recommendations and practical outcomes.
• Has experience leading complex cross-functional projects, change initiatives and operational improvement programs from concept through to implementation.
• Brings knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, workforce governance, payroll processes, industrial relations or workforce compliance frameworks.
• Can build credibility and influence across senior leaders, operational stakeholders, frontline teams and union representatives.
• Thrives in complex operational environments and can balance operational demand, employee experience, compliance obligations and commercial outcomes.
• Has strong leadership capability and fosters a positive, high performing team culture.
• Brings experience within aviation, transport, operational or large frontline workforce environments
