Job summary

Sonata Software, Brisbane-based, seeks an experienced WMS support specialist to manage Körber Warehouse systems and integrate ERP, TMS and other third-party platforms. The role calls for strong SQL and API/EDI know-how and the ability to collaborate across IT and warehouse teams.

With 8+ years in WMS environments, you will drive system upgrades, data integrity, and process improvements in a hybrid work setting (3 days onsite).

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in WMS support with Körber Warehouse Advantage preferred.
• Experience with system integrations (ERP) and warehouse workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting or related database query tools.
• Knowledge of APIs and EDI for system integrations.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical and functional issues to minimise downtime.
• Investigate errors, perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Engage in upgrades, patches, and maintenance for optimal performance.
• Support integration of Körber WMS with ERP, TMS, and other systems.
• Monitor data flows and ensure accurate inventory and transactions.
• Develop and maintain user guides, SOPs and support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Support and Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve technical and functional issues in a timely manner to minimize operational downtime.
• Investigate system errors, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Configuration and Maintenance:
• Engagement in system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Integration and Data Management:
• Support the integration of Körber WMS with ERP, TMS, and other third-party systems.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to data flows between systems.
• Ensure accurate inventory and transactional data in the system.
• Documentation:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and support processes.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, IT teams, and external vendors to identify system enhancements.
• Analyse workflows and recommend process improvements to drive efficiency.
• Stay up to date on Körber WMS features and industry best practices.

Skills:

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in WMS support, with expertise in Körber Warehouse Advantage (preferred).
• Experience with system integrations (e.g., ERP) and warehouse workflows.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting, or related database query tools.
• Knowledge of APIs and EDI for system integrations.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools.
• Technical Skills:
