Job summary

Orica is seeking a Wireless Blasting Technician to support WebGen blasting projects across regional NSW. The role is hands-on and involves site delivery, advisory duties, and collaboration with the Orica Technical Services Team.

Training will be provided; a background in underground mining or related engineering is helpful. Candidates should be safety‑focused and able to build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Underground mining background is an advantage.
• A current shotfiring license or engineering degree is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm to deliver innovative technology to customers.
• Strong communication and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Process driven and disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Lead on WebGen blasting projects and trials at customer sites.
• Provide product stewardship support to customer stakeholders on site.
• Collaborate with Orica Technical Services to deliver high-quality blast results.
• Develop longstanding relationships with customers.
• Deliver safety initiatives aligned with company values.
