Job summary

Orica has developed the world’s first wireless blasting technology, WebGen™, and we are recruiting a Wireless Blasting Technician. The role will be based in Regional New South Wales, supporting multiple customers in the region.

As a Wireless Blasting Technician, you will be hands‑on, on customer sites, providing expert advice, product stewardship and training. We will train you and value your enthusiasm and drive.

Qualifications

• Underground mining background preferred but not mandatory.
• Current shotfiring license or engineering degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and rapid learning of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead site delivery for WebGen blasting projects and trials on customer sites.
• Provide product stewardship support to customer stakeholders on site.
• Work with Orica Technical Services to deliver high‑quality blast results.
• Develop long-standing relationships with customers and ensure safety initiatives.
