Indigitise in Canberra, ACT, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on cyber security to implement, manage and retire government-grade infrastructure, including on-premises, virtual and cloud components.

You will apply security controls to uplift posture across the Australian Government, develop SOPs, run design and remediation workshops, and prototype secure configurations to inform advisory work.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of technical cyber security experience.
• Experience securing enterprise systems.
• Experience implementing one or more of the Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Experience scripting or application development to automate system administration or vulnerability assessment tasks.

Essential Criteria

• At lease 5 years technical Cyber Security experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with security focus on enterprise systems.
• Experience implementing one or more of the Essential Eight Mitigation Strategies.
• Demonstrated experience with scripting or application development to automate system administration or vulnerability assessment tasks, or to implement tools to assist with assessing or remediating cyber risks.

Desirable Criteria

• Demonstrated experience working with cloud systems, such as Azure or AWS.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing remediation activities correlating to the detection and mitigation of Active Directory compromises

Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.

This process is specifically targeting Wintel Engineer skills.

Vendor to hold current Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership.

Candidates must hold NV2 or TSPV security clearance. Please note our only option in the portal is to select 'must be able to obtain and maintain' but NV2 or TSPV must be current at time of submission for candidate to be eligible.
