Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking an experienced Wintel Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on cyber security. The role centers on uplifting the security posture of enterprise Windows environments and implementing Essential Eight mitigation strategies.

You will develop SOPs, participate in technical workshops, and prototype security configurations and automation to support risk assessment and remediation efforts. This is an onsite Australian role requiring current security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ technical cyber security experience, including enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience implementing one or more Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
• Strong scripting or application development experience supporting administration, vulnerability assessment or remediation.
• Experience assessing and improving the security posture of complex Windows infrastructure.

(TSPA/TSPV) Wintel Infrastructure Engineer - Cyber Security & Essential Eight - ACT/VIC
Join a secure enterprise environment focused on uplifting cyber security across large-scale Windows infrastructure. These roles are ideal for experienced Wintel Infrastructure Engineers with strong cyber security expertise, Essential Eight implementation experience, and scripting or automation skills.
Location: ACT or VIC
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a current NV2, TSPV or TSPA clearance
