Job summary

Whizdom is looking for a strong infrastructure engineer in Canberra to lead post-build automation and configuration within large-scale infrastructure transformation. You will work on critical systems requiring precision and repeatability.

The successful candidate will have 4–7+ years of experience, advanced PowerShell skills, and a strong understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory. The role pays $170,000 plus super and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years experience in Windows Server administration and build environments.
• Advanced capability in PowerShell scripting and automation (DSC strongly preferred).
• Experience delivering across large-scale infrastructure deployments or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, patching and system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Lead post‑build configuration and automate server infrastructure.
• Deliver post‑OS configuration across Windows Server environments.
• Develop and implement PowerShell and DSC-based automation frameworks.
• Configure and manage Active Directory domain joins and Group Policy baselines.
