Job summary

Amazon Support Services Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and automate Windows infrastructure. You will architect Active Directory, build IaC templates, and create PowerShell/Python workflows to streamline operations.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead automation initiatives, and shape scalable meeting room infrastructure as part of a security‑minded, 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experience in site reliability engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration
• Experience with Active Directory, or experience deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Windows Server
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP and DNS
• Experience working in 24/7 production environment
• Experience with scripting to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions for Windows infrastructure deployment and management
• Architect and maintain Active Directory and domain controller infrastructure across multiple security domains
• Develop comprehensive Infrastructure as Code templates for Windows environments
• Create automated workflows for system administration using PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools
• Design and implement scalable solutions for meeting rooms, video walls, and enterprise printing services
• Lead technical initiatives for infrastructure improvements and automation
• Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices and Windows infrastructure management
