Job summary

XPT Software Australia seeks an experienced Windows 365 / Microsoft 365 SME to design, implement, administer, and support Microsoft cloud and end-user computing environments within Australian Government security requirements. You will provide technical leadership across Windows 365 Cloud PC, Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security.

Qualifications

• NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain NV1.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 365 Cloud PC.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Solid Windows 10/11 enterprise administration knowledge.
• Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, device compliance, Autopilot, configuration profiles, and endpoint security.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience troubleshooting complex identity, endpoint, application, and connectivity issues.
• Understanding of Microsoft security and compliance concepts.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for device management, configuration, compliance, applications, and policies.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID including users, groups, authentication, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity lifecycle.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Defender.
• Develop and maintain endpoint security and compliance policies.
• Troubleshoot Windows 365, Intune, Windows 11, networking, identity, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Implement application deployment, patching, configuration profiles, and device baselines.
• Automate administration and operational tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph where appropriate.
• Monitor service health, performance, security posture, and capacity.
• Participate in architecture, migration, deployment, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and support/runbook documentation.
• Work with security, infrastructure, network, and service-management teams to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure solutions align with Australian Government security, compliance, and information-management requirements.
