Job summary

GenusPlus Group seeks an experienced Cost Controller for the Parron Wind Farm Project in Western Australia. Role focuses on cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to support a major renewable energy development.

You will maintain cost databases, prepare variance and performance reports, and provide timely insights to Project Managers and leadership. Strong communication with stakeholders and relevant HV/transmission experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Cost Control, ideally on projects valued at $20M+
• Experience within transmission, utilities, construction, energy or resources sectors
• Strong cost forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting capability
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Office and Power BI tools (Power Query/Power Pivot)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including reporting to senior management
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and experience on HV, transmission line, renewable energy or major infrastructure projects is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Preparing project budget variation reports, forecasts, actual cost reports and expenditure reporting
• Maintaining and updating project cost databases and forecasting models
• Producing monthly financial statements and project performance reports for Project Managers and Senior Leadership
• Monitoring project financial performance and identifying actual or potential cost impacts
• Supporting project teams with financial analysis, reporting and cost studies
• Providing accurate and timely reporting in accordance with project controls processes and procedures
