Ben Furney Flour Mills in Dubbo, NSW, seeks a hands-on WHSE Leader to drive safety, wellbeing and environmental systems at its regional production site.

You will lead risk reduction, audits and incident investigations, partnering with Operations, Maintenance and HR to ensure compliance and continuous improvement within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in WHS, risk or compliance in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or Environmental Management (Cert IV / Diploma).
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation.
• Clear communication, coaching and leadership skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve WHSE policies and culture across the site.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance and HR to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate the Risk Committee and oversee incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety audits, hazard assessments and emergency drills.
• Maintain training, licences and return-to-work programs.
• Keep safety visuals sharp with signage and safety zones.
