Ben Furney Flour Mills, a proudly Australian and family-owned company, seeks an energetic WHSE Administrative Assistant at our Dubbo manufacturing site. You’ll support health, safety and environmental systems and grow toward a WHSE leadership role, collaborating with senior leaders, HR and operations.

This role blends administration with on-the-floor experience, offering training, mentoring and a pathway to leadership in WHSE within our regional operations.

Qualifications

• Administration or coordination experience in manufacturing, logistics or industrial settings.
• Excellent organisational and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a professional, positive attitude.
• Eager to learn, contribute and develop leadership capability over time.
• Hands-on and physically able to move around a large site.
• WH S or Business Administration qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain WHSE documentation, policies and compliance records.
• Coordinate training calendars, safety inspections, and internal audits.
• Support incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Update and manage risk registers, licences, and competency databases.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and evacuation drills.
• Prepare reports and meeting documents for the Risk Committee.
• Maintain site safety visuals and promote a proactive safety culture.
