This FIFO role from Perth operates on a 2:1 roster, offering 18 months fixed term with potential extension and attractive hourly rates. The role includes training, development, and project-wide WHSE responsibilities from mobilisation to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a WHSE role.
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety required.
• Desirable training credentials in WHSE and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor site leadership and subcontractor workforce on WHSE best practices.
• Promote a safe workplace by identifying and controlling hazards.
• Implement and maintain WHSE Management Plans, Risk Registers, Procedures and Forms with site personnel and stakeholders.
• Conduct WHSE inspections and participate in WHSE audits.
• Maintain WHSE statistics and reports for client and project team.
• Ensure workers have required training and licenses per TNA.
• Ensure emergency equipment is available, tested and compliant.
• Ensure awareness of safe work procedures and JHA process.
• Experience delivering training and assessments (e.g., VOCs) is desirable.

Kerman Contracting is seeking multiple WHSE Advisors to help deliver a brand new non-process infrastructure (NPI) project for a Tier 1 client. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster.

Roles, Duties And Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring the site leadership team and subcontractor workforce on best practice WHSE procedures
• Actively promote a physically and psychologically safe workplace by assisting others to identify, eliminate or control hazards in the workplace
• Be actively involved with implementing and maintaining project WHSE Management Plans, Risk Registers, WHSE Procedures and Forms through consultation with all site personnel and stakeholders
• Conduct WHSE inspections and be actively involved with WHSE audit
• Maintain accurate WHSE statistics. WHSE reports shall be provided externally to the Client and internally to the Project team and WHSE Manager
• Ensure workers have the relevant training and licenses based on the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
• Ensure that the appropriate emergency equipment is available, tested and is compliant
• Ensure employees and subcontractors are aware of the safe work procedures and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) process
• Experience in managing and delivering training and assessments, such as VOCs (non-high risk), is desirable

About You

• A minimum of 3 years in a similar WHSE position
• Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
• Formal incident investigation training is desirable
• A positive and team-first approach
