Job summary

Monford Group is seeking an experienced WHSE Advisor for a renewable energy project located just over an hour outside of Perth. The role focuses on strengthening our safety culture, enhancing systems, and driving positive behavioural safety changes on a major site.

The successful candidate will own WHSE documentation, lead incident investigations, and analyse safety data to sustain Monford’s industry-leading safety standards. Perth-based with DIDO arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years related experience in WHSE.
• Certificate IV in Health & Safety is required.
• Solid understanding of WHSE legislation.
• Experience with 450001 accreditation is advantageous.
• Adaptability to new technologies for a paperless environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations and analyse safety data to uphold industry-leading standards.
• Own WHSE documentation and drive positive change in behavioural safety.
• Strengthen safety culture through risk assessments and systematic improvements.
• Take responsibility for WHSE program governance on a renewable energy project located just over an hour outside of Perth.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

About the Role

Monford is excited to offer opportunities for an experienced WHSE Advisor to join our team delivering a renewable energy project just over an hour outside of Perth.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in strengthening our safety culture — enhancing systems, conducting risk assessments, and driving positive change in behavioural safety. You’ll take ownership of WHSE documentation, lead incident investigations, and analyse safety data to help us maintain our industry‑leading standards.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in Perth and the role will be DIDO (Drive in Drive Out).

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• A relevant Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of related experience in WHSE roles coupled with a Certificate IV in Health & Safety.
• A comprehensive understanding of WHSE legislation.
• A self‑motivated and diligent work ethic, striving to achieve the highest standards in organisational safety and business transformation.
• We proudly maintain the highest standards of occupational health and safety with our 450001 accreditation. Experience working within this framework is highly advantageous.
• Adaptability to new technologies as we progress towards a paperless environment at MFG.
