Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ WHS experience in construction.
• Experience on Class 2 residential projects is highly regarded.
• Cert IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of NSW WHS legislation and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive WHSE compliance through site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Deliver toolbox talks, pre-starts and site-based training.
• Manage WHS documentation including SWMS, inductions and registers.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and site safety standards.
• Provide regular reporting on WHS performance to senior management.

We are partnering with a well-regarded multi-awards winning Tier 2 builder with a strong presence across Sydney’s luxury residential market. They are actively seeking a driven and experienced WHSE Advisor to support delivery of their $100M luxury project based in North Sydney.

The Opportunity

This is a site-based role supporting a $100M high-end residential developments on the North Sydney. Reporting to an experienced WHSE Manager, you will play a key role in driving safety compliance, improving systems, and embedding a strong safety culture across projects.

You’ll be working closely with site teams to ensure best practice WHS standards are upheld while contributing to the successful delivery of multi-million-dollar builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive WHSE compliance through site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Deliver toolbox talks, pre-starts, and site-based training

About You

• 4–6 years’ WHS experience within the construction industry

• ICAM certification advantageous
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence site teams
• Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong commitment to safety
