The business has a strong reputation for delivering quality projects safely and takes a practical, hands-on approach to health and safety. With a strong pipeline of work, the business is looking to add an experienced WHS Coordinator to support project delivery and provide visible safety leadership across site operations.
Reporting to the WHS Manager, and working closely with the wider WHS and project teams, this is a highly operational, site-based role, supporting the delivery of major civil infrastructure works in Western Sydney.
You will provide day-to-day WHS support across active work fronts, working closely with supervisors, subcontractors and site crews to identify risks, implement practical controls and ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with legislative and project requirements. The projects involve complex civil and infrastructure construction activities, including underground works, excavation, pipeline installation and other high-risk construction activities.
The role would suit someone with experience working across Transport for NSW (TfNSW), Sydney Water, or similar client sites, whether you have strong hands-on operational WHS experience or are looking to take the next step into a dedicated site-based role.
