Job summary

Monford Group in Perth seeks an experienced Project / Site Civil Engineer to join our Civils team and help launch a new project just over an hour south of Perth. The role starts at our Head Office in Perth and will mobilise to site when works commence.

You will coordinate day-to-day site activities, manage planning, costings and subcontractors, and provide design support, with strong communication to stakeholders and a view to long‑term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years experience in design and site based engineering roles, preferably in Construction & Renewable Industries.
• Strong technical knowledge in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent communication with ability to engage stakeholders and guide teams to success.
• Ideally based in Perth and open to DIDO

Responsibilities

• Coordinating day to day site activities including planning, preparing work packages and managing and coordinating subcontractors to ensure works completed safely, on time and to project specifications
• Manage the planning, daily costings, monitoring, measuring and reporting of progress and costs
• Manage budgets and create accurate forecasts for the scope of works
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, estimating materials costs and provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Provide support to the wider Project and Design Teams as required

About the Role

Initially starting in our Head Office in Perth, and mobilise to site once works commence.

• Excellent communication and with the ability to engage stakeholders and guide teams to success
• Ideally based in Perth and open to DIDO
