Monadelphous is seeking an HSE Advisor for the Port Debottlenecking project in Port Hedland, WA. The role employs a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth with all Australian major city flights paid.

You will provide HSE guidance across construction activities, audits, and training to maintain safety and environmental standards. Ideal candidates have 4+ years on-site HSE experience, a Certificate IV in OHS/WHS, and strong knowledge of Australian HSE legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years experience in a site-based HSE role.
• Certificate IV (OHS/WHS) or equivalent.
• Exposure to high risk works (cranes, rigging, rope access, heavy lift, electrical).
• Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and standards.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

• Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.
• Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety/environment procedures.

• Maintain knowledge of contemporary HSE practices and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct routine/ad-hoc analysis on HSE performance data and recommend actions.

Monadelphous are currently seeking a HSE Advisor to join our Engineering & Construction E&I division, working on our new Port Debottlenecking project in Port Hedland, WA. Installation and commissioning of all structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation activities for Car Dumper 6 and its supporting materials handling facilities. This position is a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, with all Australian major cities return flights paid.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and expertise to manage HSE issues and to improve HSE performance, culture and management.
• Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.
• Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.
• Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
• Provide hands on support to implement HSE improvements, plans or solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of contemporary HSE practices to recommend and implement effective HSE solutions.
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis and investigations on HSE performance data to identify performance trends and areas of concern/risk at a Project and or Site level. Propose and follow-up on recommendations for action.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 4+ years experience in a site-based HSE role, ideally working for similar construction contractors on multi-disciplinary scopes of work.
• Minimum Certificate IV qualification in OHS/WHS, equivalent or above.
• Exposure to high risk works, including but not limited to cranes, rigging, rope access, heavy lift, or electrical works.
• Full Australian working rights and a valid drivers' licence.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards.
• Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
