Job summary

Care Connect, a not-for-profit community care provider in Australia, is seeking an experienced WHS Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. This role partners with leaders to drive proactive safety across office and field teams, delivering practical policies, training and incident investigations.

You will support a distributed workforce delivering care in clients' homes and communities, monitor legislative changes, and lead improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant WHS qualifications and hands-on experience.
• Proven ability to support a distributed, field-based workforce.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive approach to injury prevention, safety, and wellbeing.
• Provide practical WHS guidance to both office-based and field teams.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve WHS policies, procedures and tools.
• Lead workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Deliver engaging WHS training, education and resources.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work plans.
• Contribute to and lead WHS and People & Culture initiatives and projects.
