Job summary

KB Seafood Co. is seeking a Work Health, Safety & Training Coordinator to join our Morningside team. This hands-on role supports WHS, training, compliance and continuous improvement across operations.

You will coordinate inspections, investigations, training records and safety communications, while promoting a practical safety culture.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate IV in WHS, 2–5 years of WHS experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a current driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• 2–5 years' experience in WHS, training or compliance.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate WHS inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage employee and contractor training and competency records.
• Monitor training compliance and liaise with training providers.
• Coordinate toolbox talks and safety training.
• Maintain WHS systems, reporting and documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.
• Promote a positive and practical safety culture.
