Job summary

KB Seafood Co, Australia's largest seafood company, is seeking a Work Health, Safety & Training Coordinator to join our Morningside team. This hands-on role supports WHS, training, compliance and continuous improvement across operations.

You'll coordinate inspections, incident investigations and training records, maintain WHS systems, and promote a practical safety culture with site leaders and the National WHS Manager. Essential certification and 2–5 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• 2–5 years' experience in WHS, training or compliance.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Confidence working with people at all levels.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and WHS systems.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122), First Aid, incident investigation experience, or experience in food manufacturing, seafood, logistics or warehousing will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate WHS inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage employee and contractor training and competency records.
• Monitor training compliance and liaise with training providers.
• Coordinate toolbox talks and safety training.
• Maintain WHS systems, reporting and documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.
• Promote a positive and practical safety culture.
