Job summary

Seek is seeking a safety-focused professional to support the safety leader in training, compliance, and guiding staff through safe work practices and systems. You will build strong relationships with staff, supervisors and managers to expand knowledge of OHS responsibilities via education and training.

Responsibilities include monitoring risk, safe operating procedures, and incident/hazard controls, as well as site inductions for new staff and enforcing OHS policies in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience applying risk management to workplace health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train and enforce OHS policies and safe work practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement to educate and coach staff, supervisors and managers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the safety leader with training, compliance monitoring and guiding staff on safe work practices and systems.
• Develop relationships across staff, supervisors and managers to expand OHS knowledge through education and training.
• Monitor across the organisation for safe operating procedures, job task requirements, risk assessments and injury prevention.
• Assist with site inductions for new staff and enforce incident and hazard system awareness.
