WHS Systems & Compliance Lead

Job summary

Greenworx operates with a head office-based WHS systems and coordination role to support site safety and work health across growing operations. The role includes a site safety inspection remit as new sites are added to our portfolio.

The position focuses on maintaining and improving WHS policies, procedures and documentation, monitoring regulatory changes, and coordinating risk assessments, training, and incident management for multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' WHS coordination experience.
• Experience developing and improving WHS policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and Codes of Practice.
• Strong organisational and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance requirements and drive actions to completion.
• Collaborative approach with operational managers.
• Experience in landscaping, construction or field-based environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve WHS policies, procedures, registers and systems.
• Translate regulatory changes into practical business processes.
• Coordinate risk assessments, SWMS, SOPs, toolbox talks, training and emergency management.
• Oversee incidents, hazards, near misses and corrective actions.
• Manage central records for licences, qualifications and certifications.
• Coordinate WHS consultation including the Health & Safety Committee.
• Identify trends and gaps to strengthen WHS systems.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Provide clear WHS reporting to senior management.
