Homes and Granny Flats – Wetherill Park NSW is seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to join our growing team. This hands-on role blends office coordination with regular site visits across Sydney, regional NSW and occasionally QLD, delivering practical WHS improvements.

You'll conduct inspections, support risk assessments and incident investigations, and help maintain compliance and onboarding for contractors while growing your WHS expertise through mentoring and ongoing training.

Qualificações

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or nearing completion).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Confidence working with a variety of stakeholders.
• Current driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly and stay away overnight.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics, labour hire or industrial environments is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits.
• Support ongoing improvement of WHS systems and procedures.
• Assist with risk assessments and implementation of control measures.
• Maintain contractor compliance and onboarding documentation.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with Return to Work and Injury Management processes.
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain safety records.
• Collaborate with managers and site teams to promote safety.
