Job summary

Howsafe is seeking a WHS Support Consultant to join our team in Newcastle–Maitland. This role offers growth and hands-on experience in Work Health and Safety across diverse clients.

You will assist in implementing WHS programs, coordinate tasks, and build strong client relationships, with training support provided. A Certificate IV in WHS is required; higher qualifications are highly regarded. Salary range is AUD 70k–80k plus super.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS is required.
• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or University Degree in WHS/related discipline highly regarded.
• Previous administration management experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and implementation of WHS programs across a wide range of industries and clients.
• Plan and coordinate tasks autonomously and with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
• Manage relationships with clients and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and meeting varying needs.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure WHS compliance is up to date and effectively communicated.
• Provide assistance with safety training programs and support.
