Job summary

Device Technologies is seeking a Senior WHS Specialist to join our WHS Team in Western Sydney or the Northern Beaches. You will lead risk assessments, incidents, injury management, and reporting, while supporting training and emergency management across sites. A Certificate IV in WHS plus 3+ years in a similar role is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar health and safety role (3+ years).
• Experience with incident and injury management, WHS reporting, consultation and management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support completion of Business Unit Risk Assessments.
• Manage incidents and associated investigations.
• Oversee injury management and return to work with providers.
• Monitor Emergency Management compliance across DT sites.
• Facilitate training of emergency personnel (first aiders and fire wardens).
• Oversee management of emergency equipment supplies across DT sites.
• Monitor Workplace Inspections and compliance with DT’s Critical Risk Standards.
• Assist with WHS queries and WHS reporting.
• Undertake compliance audits and assist WHS Manager with projects.
