Job summary

Marquis Macadamias is seeking a Manager - Workplace Health, Safety, HR and Training based at Marquis Macadamias' Bundaberg factory in Queensland. You will provide health and safety advice across all levels of the organisation, and oversee recruitment and training coordination.

You will conduct internal WHS audits, coordinate risk assessments, develop training programs, and contribute to policies in line with legislation, while supporting a flexible workplace and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety advice across all levels of the organisation.
• Maintain accident and incident investigations and records database.
• Oversee end to end recruitment and selection processes.
• Conduct internal health and safety audits.
• Coordinate site hazard identification, risk assessments and control measures.
• Develop and present training sessions for induction and WHS.
• Assist in WHS policies, standards and procedures in line with legislation.
• Coordinate training activities including deficiencies, work instructions and competency assessments.
• Return to work Coordinator duties.
• Perform Fire Safety Advisor duties.
