Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions is seeking a WHSE Advisor to support safe and compliant operations across our sites in Wollongong, NSW. You will work with project teams, WHSE Managers and leaders to strengthen RCC's safety performance.

You will help implement WHSE systems, conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, while fostering a proactive safety culture and strong stakeholder relationships across projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Experience in a construction, engineering or safety-related role.
• ICAM or similar incident investigation training.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to safety.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of RCC's WHSE systems, standards and project-specific compliance requirements.
• Assist with workforce onboarding and inductions.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Support risk assessments, SWMS reviews and hazard management activities.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
• Encourage proactive hazard reporting and a positive safety culture across project teams.
• Work closely with site leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times.
