Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) invites applications for a WHSE Advisor to uphold safe, compliant, and high-performing environments across RCC sites in Sydney. You will collaborate with project teams, WHSE Advisors and WHSE Managers to embed robust safety practices.

Key duties include supporting WHSE system implementation, onboarding, site inspections, and risk assessments, while promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Experience in a construction, engineering or safety-related role.
• ICAM or similar incident investigation training.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of RCC's WHSE systems, standards and project-specific compliance requirements.
• Assisting with workforce onboarding and inductions.
• Conducting site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Supporting risk assessments, SWMS reviews and hazard management activities.
• Assisting with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
• Encouraging proactive hazard reporting and a positive safety culture across project teams.
• Working closely with site leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times.
