Job summary

Richard Crookes Constructions – Sydney NSW is seeking a WHSE Advisor to help maintain a safe, compliant and high-performing work environment across our sites, collaborating with project teams and operations leaders.

You will support the implementation of WHSE systems, conduct site inspections, assist with inductions and risk assessments, and contribute to a proactive safety culture across RCC's major projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Experience in a construction, engineering or safety-related role.
• ICAM or similar incident investigation training.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to safety.
• Eagerness to learn and build a long-term WHSE career.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Support RCC's WHSE systems, standards and project-specific compliance requirements.
• Assist with workforce onboarding and inductions.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Support risk assessments, SWMS reviews and hazard management activities.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
• Encourage proactive hazard reporting and a positive safety culture across project teams.
• Work closely with site leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times.
