Job summary

Unearth Talent is seeking an experienced WHS Case Manager (APS6) in Canberra to lead work health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation initiatives. You will coordinate return-to-work programs and provide expert guidance to employees and managers while engaging multiple stakeholders to improve safety outcomes.

This 12-month non-ongoing position offers a competitive APS6 salary range and a 15.4% superannuation, with a collaborative team and strong focus on wellbeing and governance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in work health and safety, injury management, rehabilitation, return-to-work or a related discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage work health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation matters.
  • Coordinate return-to-work programs and rehabilitation plans.
  • Provide specialist WHS and wellbeing advice to employees and managers.
  • Support the delivery of workplace wellbeing and safety initiatives.
  • Conduct incident reporting, investigations and workplace risk assessments.
  • Contribute to WHS governance, reporting and compliance activities.
  • Liaise with health practitioners, rehabilitation providers, Comcare and other stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen workplace safety outcomes.

Canberra, ACT | APS6 | $104,113 - $115,131 + 15.4% Super | Baseline Clearance | 12 Month Non-Ongoing

Our client is seeking an experienced WHS Case Manager to join their People, Capability and Engagement team in Canberra. This opportunity will see you play a key role in managing workplace health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation cases while supporting a culture of safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Working closely with employees, managers, rehabilitation providers and external stakeholders, you will help deliver positive return-to-work outcomes and contribute to the wellbeing of a diverse workforce.

The Opportunity

As the APS6 WHS Case Manager, you will:

  • Manage work health and safety, injury management and rehabilitation matters.
