Tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
XDMG, backed by Globe International, is seeking a proven wholesale hunter to drive growth through Victoria’s workwear retailers and trade channels. You will open doors, win initial orders and build momentum with minimal maintenance and strong support.
You will travel across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, leveraging established relationships to seed new business and convert opportunities into recurring orders.
Frankly, the product category matters less than the relationships.
If you already sell into Victoria’s network of workwear retailers, safety outlets, uniform suppliers and trade stores, and you have the “little black book” of buyers, owners and decision-makers to prove it, you could be exactly who we need.
We want someone with established, current relationships who can pick up the phone, book meetings immediately and start opening doors for XDMG.
((Do not approach Globe or XDMG directly. Direct approaches will rule you out 100%))
XDMG is the entry-level little brother of FXD, one of Australia’s most recognised workwear brands.
The product is ready. The pricing is competitive. The design, marketing, warehousing, finance and operational support are already in place.
Now XDMG needs a genuine wholesale hunter to move the brand through Victoria’s network of specialist workwear retailers, safety outlets, trade stores, and major client-side accounts.
This is not an account-maintenance role. We want you to plant seeds and then keep finding new accounts.
Your job is to open doors, win initial orders and build momentum. You might approach 100 retailers and initially secure only four or five meaningful accounts. Those first wins create visibility, repeat orders, referrals and the snowball effect that drives a wholesale workwear brand.
You must already have strong, current relationships with Victorian retailers selling workwear, safety apparel, PPE, safety footwear, tools or related trade products.
We need someone who knows:
If your experience is primarily selling directly to construction companies, industrial sites or corporate end-users, that alone is not enough.
If you cannot name the retailers and buyers who would take your call, this is not the right role.
Your current title is not particularly important. Your retailer relationships and ability to win new business are.
XDMG is backed by Globe International, a major Australian business generating approximately $600 million in annual revenue and the company behind FXD.
This is not an underfunded start-up hoping to find its feet. The product, infrastructure, supply chain and corporate support already exist.
I have personally recruited nine people into Globe International during the past three years. They remain with the company and are genuinely ecstatic with the culture. Two have been promoted already.
The management team is fair, commercially sensible and highly supportive. When people perform, they receive recognition and rewards.
Apply with your CV and a brief note identifying the types of Victorian workwear, safety, uniform or trade retailers you currently sell into.
You do not need to disclose confidential contact details at application stage, but you must be able to demonstrate that the relationships are real, current and relevant.
Direct approaches WILL 100% rule you out of contention.
