Job summary

IRT Group is seeking a Wellbeing Team Leader for the Berala on the Park Residential Care Home. This full-time, fixed-term 12-month role leads the design, planning, delivery and assessment of activity and wellbeing programs for residents.

Based in Berala, you will supervise Wellbeing Officers, coordinate volunteers, liaise with internal and external services, and support accreditation processes while ensuring compliance with IRT policies and aged care standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (or equivalent).
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain).
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and supervising Wellbeing Officers, including reviewing performance.
• Coordination of onsite volunteers.
• Liaising with internal shared service teams & external services and community groups.
• Responding to employee, resident and client concerns in line with IRT's complaints management policy (commence workplace conduct investigations as required).
• Participating in Accreditation processes including preparation and site visits.
• Ensuring the management and delivery of the lifestyle program meets compliance standards and is in line with IRT policy.
• Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and procedures.

About the Role

IRT is investing in our leadership capability creating an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Team Leader to lead the design, planning, delivery and assessment of activity and wellbeing programs for our residents.

We're looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work in our IRT Berala on the Park Residential Care Home in a Fixed-Term 12 month capacity.

You will be required to work Full Time across Monday to Friday from 830am to 500pm.

Your work will include:

• Leading, mentoring and supervising Wellbeing Officers, including reviewing performance
• Coordination of onsite volunteers
• Liaising with internal shared service teams & external services and community groups

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
