Job summary

IRT William Beach Gardens is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team in NSW. You will provide high-quality, person-centred clinical care to residents and support a collaborative care team.

We have three permanent part-time openings across AM, PM and night shifts with competitive hourly rates and shift penalties based on experience. Join a not-for-profit provider focused on better lives for older Australians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of clinical ageing issues including dementia and behaviour management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic with passion for helping older Australians.
• Experience as a registered nurse in an aged care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review care plans.
• Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Complete admissions, routine and ongoing clinical assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments in line with best practice.
• Monitor residents' health and document changes accurately.
• Lead infection prevention and control practices and outbreak management.
• Support, mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the care team.

About the Role

As a registered nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care that enhances the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that shares your commitment to making every day meaningful for those in our care.

We currently have 3 x Permenant Part Time Opportunities to work AM, PM and Night Shifts

Super exciting offer:

• Hourly base rate between$46.60 - $59.21 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on the experience.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
• Experience working as a registered nurse in an aged care centre environment
